As a café in the City of Copenhagen, you can become part of a shared recycling system that reduces single-use waste - without making everyday life more difficult. We help you all the way from application to operation.

What you get

    When you're part of the project, the cost of the return box is covered.

    The pledge is a zero-sum game:
    • Cup costs you: 2 DKK
    • The deposit is paid by the customer
    • We pay the deposit back to the customer

    We handle the dialogue with the municipality and make sure you get off to a good start.

    You become an active part of a larger movement in the city.

What it takes

To participate in the City of Copenhagen's project, you must:

  • Replace minimum 50,000 disposable cups annually
  • Contribute sales data for impact measurement

Changing behaviour requires visibility - and that's part of the project.

  • Online marketing  
  • Part of the return overview (map/platform)
  • Outdoor campaigns

Questions for the open loop

The deposit covers the cup - it's part of the system's economy.

No - it works like a regular takeaway, but with a reusable cup. 

 

No - we handle it together with you.

Very little - we only ask for access to sales figures and then we do the calculations.
