Having trouble returning your cup or figuring out how the deposit works?

Here you'll find answers to the most common questions about deposits, returns and payment.

Everything you need to know

It can sometimes take a few seconds (typically 4-6 seconds) for the lid to open. Also note that the lid will only open after you have scanned your first cup.

If necessary, try pressing "Open box" again.

If the problem persists, you can Create a support caseand we'll help you on your way.

 First try reloading the page by clicking gload in.

If the camera is still not showing, it may be blocked. You can grant access by going into the settings of your browser and activate the camera.

Please note that the procedure may vary depending on which browser or phone you are using. Therefore, follow the instructions displayed on the camera page.

The money is transferred once you have completed your scan and closed the gate. It may take 1-2 business days for the funds to appear in your account.

If the scanner cannot read the QR code, it may be due to dirt, scratches or insufficient lighting.

Try wiping the QR code and make sure there is good light.
If it still doesn't work, you can Create a support case and indicate how many cups you could not scan.

Use the camera on your phone to scan the QR code on your cup, bowl or tray.
You will then be shown a map of the locations where you can drop off your deposit.
